In January of 2011, I started Weight Watchers, I needed to lose some weight.  I hadn’t been exercising at all, and the thought of exercise made me cringe.  In June, my weight loss had plateaued and I was having a hard time losing,  so I decided to join Exertec hoping that I would find something I liked to do.  And I have!

I have a long road ahead of me in my weight loss but I feel that I am completely on track.  I have lost over 20lbs since I started at Exertec in June.  I feel so much more energetic and healthier.

I started at Exertec with the anticipation of taking the aqua classes.  I soon found that I was craving to go to the gym and could not wait for the next class.  I will say that most of that came from Jackie’s classes.  Jackie has motivated me more than I could have ever thought.  She brings out the fight in me.  I find myself working harder & getting stronger, mentally and physically every day. 

After being in Jackies aqua classes for about a month I approached her about taking her Boot Camp Class.  I had heard it was really tough.  She had no doubt that I would be able to do it, so I gave it a try.  I love the energy and the push you need to accomplish it.  It makes me feel so good to complete each class and I look forward to the next one every time!

I plan to continue with my current gym schedule.  I take aqua on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and boot camp on Wednesdays.  I work in San Francisco, so evenings work best with my schedule and I seem to have more energy then too.  I have also been thinking of trying to get on the machines and weights more.  My ultimate goal is to be a healthy weight and just be healthier all around.
