Finding Inspiration

On April 28th I participated in the Napa Race for Education 5K. My husband and 8 year old daughter joined me, so it was truly a family effort.  The weather was perfect for a morning spent outdoors among other families and groups of friends.

Cavemen and Candy Bars

You may have seen a recent episode of 60 Minutes where Dr. Sanjay Gupta interviewed physicians and researchers about the evils of sugar consumption. Doctors explained how excess sugar in our diets is linked to obesity, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, and now heart disease.

If Only...

“If I could just lose weight, I’d be so much happier.”

Triggers are anything that influence (or sabotage) your eating plan. Beware: they come in many forms, and we may not always recognize them.

For example...
