EAT HEALTHY: THE OPTIMUM WEIGHT MANAGEMENT FACILITATOR
MINDSET MAKEOVER FACILITATOR
Jackie Reynolds has been an instructor at Exertec for over two years, and a certified Group X instructor in the fitness industry for over fifteen years. She believes in continual professional education and exposes herself to current fitness courses that she believes help her show the public how much fun exercise and fitness can be.
Her teaching experience in the fitness industry stretches beyond California to Colorado and Florida which, she feels, has given her the opportunity to learn about a variety of lifestyles and cultures where fitness is concerned. As a result, Jackie presents a teaching style that reflects dedication to people at all levels of fitness.
Around Exertec, Jackie is know for her "limitless energy" she devotes to those who take her classes; and likewise, she reminds her students of their "limitless potential." Her positive message is based on being committed to one's own health and that people, regardless of ability, can be on a direct path to reaching their goals. By teaching Exertec's "Find Your Fitness" Solutions Series Workshop, Jackie's goal is to empower individuals and to help them foster a sense of control over their health that they can feel for a lifetime.
When asked about her personal philosophy toward fitness, Jackie says, "I realize that activities inside and outside the club are limitless. There is so much out there waiting to be discovered. It is doing what you enjoy most on a regular basis that will keep you active and healthy. Good habits are just as easy to form as bad ones with the right attitude. This is why I am excited to be a part of the Fitness Solutions Series, and in particular, to teach the Find Your Fitness Workshop."
While she is the newest member of the Exertec Personal Training team, Krista Galyen is anything but new to fitness. As a child she participated in gymnastics and track and field, eventually earning a degree in the Science of Human Development from UC Davis. In 1996 her love of health and fitness took her even further to studying martial arts (Tae Kwon Do), and eventually earning her kickboxing certification. It was only a matter of time until Krista became a Group Fitness Instructor—where she was able to share her love of training with her students and help them reach their ultimate fitness goals.
Krista continued her passion for finding new challenges by developing a love for Scuba diving, along with her husband. She loved it so much, she became a PADI certified Master Scuba diver, Rescue diver, and then Dive Master. After taking some time to raise her family, Krista decided it was time for another challenge! Her love of Bootcamp fitness took her to continue her education and became a Certified Personal Trainer and Bootcamp instructor.
When she isn’t training clients or teaching her group classes, Krista takes her dedication and focus to a new level: she trains for and competes as a NPC (National Physique Committee, Inc.) Figure Competitor (that’s body building—for those of us not familiar with NPC)!
Krista has more than an interest in fitness… she has made it an integral part of her life for decades. At Exertec, she is known for her positivity, dedication and focus. She wholeheartedly believes in inspiring others at any fitness level. Most of all, she sees teaching the “Find Your Fitness” Solutions Workshop as a wonderful opportunity to help others learn to build a fit lifestyle around the activities they love to do.

Amanda Tronstad: Creator and Facilitator of “Mindset Makeover Solution”
Amanda has four years of experience as a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, and has been personally involved in fitness since age 16.
While Amanda discovered the benefits of consistent exercise at this early age, she still struggled with the consistency of her own exercise habits, and therefore, struggled with maintaining her weight. She felt her success was intermittent at best, until she had the realization that her problem was not with “will power” or “know-how,” but it was due to her thoughts and attitudes about herself.
Her personal experiences, combined with her observations as a Personal Trainer led to her development of the “Mindset Makeover Solution”--- a workshop designed to provide the tools and understanding to affect a positive change in one’s perception of exercise and fitness.
